Cancun Airport Terminal 4

Inaugurated in 2017, Terminal 4 serves national and international flights at Cancun International Airport. As the first airport in Mexico to boast four terminals, this expansion was necessary due to the increasing traffic each year and the growing hotel offerings in Cancun and the Riviera Maya. In addition, it already has a hotel within the airport itself.

Terminal 4 features two levels of double height and a mezzanine level, housing duty-free shops, a food court, and other establishments. This terminal, spanning 67,000 square meters, represents a 36.7% expansion of the airport’s footprint, accommodating documentation areas, security filters, departure lounges, and baggage claim areas, with two runways in operation.

Fourteen national and international airlines, including Aeroméxico, Interjet, Air France, and Lufthansa, operate from Terminal 4. Notably, the terminal has received a LEED Silver certification from the Green Building Council of the United States, recognizing its intelligent and sustainable energy usage.

With the addition of Terminal 4, Cancun Airport has solidified its status as one of the premier airports in Latin America, serving as a vital hub for travelers across the region.
